Tevez, an Argentine striker, declined to choose a preference between Ronaldo and Messi, instead opting to appreciate both of them.
TEVEZ ON RONALDO & MESSI
According to Carlos Tevez, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are “both out of the norm.”
The 37-year-old is one of only 21 footballers to have ever played alongside the attackers. For two years at Manchester United, he played alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, and from 2005 to 2015, he was a member of Argentina’s national squad alongside Lionel Messi.
When asked which of the two he preferred in an interview with ESPN, Tevez expressed his thoughts on the duo.
“They’re two legends. I felt at ease with both of them. Both were enjoyable and educational for me. He described them as “out of the ordinary.”
“With Cristiano, I was involved in the day-to-day, whereas with Leo, I was involved in the national team.” They come from another world. They are still among football’s best, which is quite challenging. It’s something to be proud of.
“You have to give credit where credit is due to those types of players.”
Since leaving Boca Juniors for the third time last summer, Tevez has been without a club.
Boca Juniors, Corinthians, West Ham United, Manchester United, Manchester City, Juventus, and Shanghai Shenhua are among his previous clubs.
