Prime Minister Narendra Modi showed up at Hyderabad air terminal this evening yet Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao did not attend the Prime Minister as he arrived in Hyderabad nor did he attend any of the occasions that Narendra Modi was supposed to attend.
The Prime Minister previously went to the International Crop Research Institute For Semi-Arid Tropics on their 50th commemoration and afterward went to Muchintala on the outskirts of Hyderabad to officially dedicate a 216-feet Statue of Equality of Swamy Ramanujacharya to the country.
However the Telangana Chief Minister’s Office passed on to the PMO that the Chief Minister would avoid the PM’s events as he was having fever, his critics and political acquaintances say there could be something else to it besides health reasons.
Few days before the Prime Minister’s arrival, Chief Minister KCR had slammed PM Modi as somebody who “dresses for elections”, and convicted the alleged ‘Gujarat Model’ as “presentation without significance” and ‘lying via online media to win election’.

On Tuesday evening, post the Union financial plan, after Chief minister KCR insulted the Central government, the BJP and the Prime Minister personally.
“As a per the norms of Constitution, I will invite the Prime Minister. Criticizing the BJP is my governmental issues yet this is norm that I have to follow. Indeed, even on chopper ride with him, I will let him know that,” Chief minister KCR had joked.
A correspondence from the Chief Minister’s Office yesterday had said Talasani Srinivas Yadav is designated to receive and see off the Prime Minister upon his arrival and takeoff.
